Returns

As a small business, in order to cover lost shipping costs, we charge a 10% fee on returned US orders. However, if you would like to exchange the item, you will not be charged a fee. Please note that the sender is responsible for all return and exchange shipping costs and insurance.

Please note that made-to-order items, such as most rings, custom pieces, and particularly complex designs are not eligible for return or exchange. These items are handcrafted specifically for you and require significant time and resources to create. Eligible returnable items will be clearly marked in the product description. For all eligible items, we offer a 14-day return or exchange policy from the date of delivery.

If you’re concerned about sizing or fit, please contact us ahead of time, and refer to our Post-Delivery Adjustments section for options that may be available after your piece arrives.

To qualify for a return, products must be unused, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We reserve the right to deny refunds if the jewelry does not meet these criteria.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please be aware that items sent back to us without first requesting a return and items returned after the 14-day window will not be accepted.

How to Return

To initiate a return, please email hello@sabinemade.com with the subject line "Return + Order #" and attach any applicable photos. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery to be eligible for a refund. We cannot accept returns beyond this timeframe.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance. Sabinemade is not liable for lost packages during the return process, so we strongly recommend insuring your package.

Exchanges

The restocking fee will be waived for all exchanges.

To initiate an exchange, please email hello@sabinemade.com with the subject line "Exchange + Order #" and attach any applicable photos. If your exchange is approved, you will be prompted via email to place a new order. Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery to be eligible. We cannot accept exchanges beyond this timeframe.

Please note, we do not provide return shipping labels unless the item received is damaged. The customer is responsible for return/exchange shipping costs and insurance. Sabinemade is not liable for lost packages during the exchange process, so we strongly recommend insuring your package.

Post-Delivery Adjustments

Even though all final sale pieces are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, we want you to feel confident when purchasing. In many cases, we’re happy to offer small post-delivery adjustments to help your piece fit just right. Here's how it works:

Adjustment Options:

Necklaces & Bracelets: Chains can often be made slightly shorter or longer. Let us know your needs and we’ll confirm what’s possible.

Rings: Minor size adjustments (up to 1/4 ring size smaller, up to 1/2 ring size larger) may be available on a case-by-case basis. If a ring is eligible for resizing, that will be clearly stated in the product listing.

Please Note:

Shipping fees and insurance for adjustments are the responsibility of the customer (both ways). Sabinemade is not liable for lost packages during the adjustment process, so we strongly recommend insuring your package.

It's essential that you measure carefully and select the correct size before ordering. Significant alterations may not be possible or may incur an additional fee.

Adjustments are only available for the original buyer, and must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Pieces returned for adjustment must be in original, unworn condition.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include photos that clearly indicate the problem.

Cancellations

You have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel your order by emailing hello@sabinemade.com with the subject line "Cancellation + Order #."

After this window, Sabinemade reserves the right to deny cancellations, as orders may enter production or are prepared for shipping as soon as 24 hours after being placed.

Refunds

We will notify via email you once we’ve received and inspected your return and exchange and will let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
