'Sunrise' Print

This painting captures the serenity and beauty of a single moment – the safety and preciousness of waking up in bed, either with oneself or one's partner. I often lose myself in the shapes when I'm painting, stepping back to be pleasantly surprised by the figure that emerges. A painting transforms depending on the vantage point, revealing new forms and meanings as you move around it – much like how we see ourselves differently in moments of solitude versus intimacy.
